Saint-Bon
The village of Saint-Bon is where Courchevel's adventure originally started, with the building in 1908 of the first hotel, the Lac Bleu. It is the home of a baroque church and typical mountain village streets, enjoying gentle tranquillity and exceptional panoramic views over the valley. It's just a 3-minute free regular shuttle bus ride to the slopes of Le Praz, where the lifts start, but from their you can ski back to the village of Saint-Bon along a red run.
La Praz (1300)
La Praz is a rustic village that offers you a cosy atmosphere and brings the promise of luxury to your ski holiday, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or family and friends get togethers. Lifts are never far away from your accommodation to take you speedily to the upper slopes. A new 10 person gondola whisks you off to the Courchevel 1850 slopes in just six minutes where you can also enjoy delicious food in reputable restaurants. La Praz is also home to the ski jump built for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, and still in use today.
La Tania (1400)
La Tania was built specially to accommodate the athletes of the 1992 Winter Olympics. It has a charm all of its own set amongst the trees. Not to be missed, and especially on a white out day, is a great run called the Folyeres which allows you to ski your way through a beautiful spruce forest. There is a free ski lift right in the village where children are well catered for. Some of the accommodation is ‘ski in, ski out’ linking to the slopes of Courchevel and Meribel. The centre of La Tania is pedestrianised where you can visit shops and various eateries without the rush of traffic.

A newly built large water sports centre, Aquamotion, with amazing chutes, tubes, surfing and wellness centre, also offers hot tubs and a climbing wall, just on the outskirts of 1650.
