OVERVIEW
Whistler's lies in the breathtaking Canadian Rocky mountains. The ski resort of Whistler is split by 2 mountains, Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. The Peak 2 Peak gondola connects the 2 mountain areas together and makes a huge ski area of 8,171 acres. Whistler enjoys an average yearly snowfall of 12m with the winter season running from mid November to the end of May.
The 2010 Winter Olympics held in Whistler enabled the resort to install a modern and updated lift system. This transformed the ski resort into a European vibe whilst retaining its original identity.
