Val D'Isere is situated at 1850m in the Parc National de la Vanoise valley and is connected to the ski area of Tignes making up 300km of skiable pistes. It lies in the Savoie region of the French Alps and part of the Espace Killy ski area, named after the three times Olympic ski champion and World Cup champion Jean-Claude Killy.
